

The Camino de Santiago - Plane
WAY OF SANTIAGO - TRAVEL BY PLANE AND WALKING ROUTES
PROGRAM
Duration: 9 days - 8 nights
1st Day: Departure for Spain
Departure of Participants from Malpensa airport in the early afternoon with Easy Jet flight to Bilbao (operational subject to reconfirmation). Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
2nd day: BILBAO / LEON / SAMOS (km 520)
Breakfast and departure for Sarria with a stop in Leon to visit the town. Free lunch. In the late afternoon I arrive in the Sarria area. Dinner and overnight at the hotel .
Day 3: SAMOS / SARRÌA / FERREIROS (km 25)
Starting from Samos, towards Sarria, continue walking along the road to Teiguin, where you take the riverside until you reach Pascais. Then continue towards Gorolfe, following the signs towards Reiriz. Then towards A Guiada, the variant for Samos joins with that of San Xil to get to Sarria, until the stage ends in Ferreiros.
4th Day: FERREIROS / PORTOMARÌN / LIGONDE (km 23)
From Ferreiros proceed towards Portmarìn, where the path follows towards Rente for a route in excellent condition, passing Mercado da Serra, Leimán and Peruscallo. Portomarín is a town with a great tourist attraction. The historic center is all in stone and offers any type of service. The stage then ends in Ligonde.
5th Day: LIGONDE / PALAS DE REI / MELIDE (km 23)
From Ligonde the route enters the territories of the municipality of Palas de Rei. Leaving Palas de Rei, cross the state road until you enter a path that leads to Carballal and then to San Xulián.
6th Day: MELIDE / ARZÙA / O PINO (km 33)
The French Way leaves Melide, continuing along the well-signposted road until it reaches Arzúa, the land of cheese par excellence. The French Way leaves Arzúa to enter O Pino.
7th Day: O PINO / PEDROUZO / SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (km 20) Starting from O Pino, you reach O Pedrouzo; you then cross the next town, Santo Antón, where the climb to the entrance to the municipality of Santiago begins. In Lavacolla, very close to Monte do Gozo, the route is practically urban, reaching the Cathedral through the district of San Lázaro.
Day 8: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA Day to be dedicated to visiting the splendid town of Jacobea. Possibility to attend the famous Pilgrim Mass celebrated inside the Cathedral and time for the collection of the Compostela at the Casa del Deàn.
Day 9: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA After breakfast, transfer to the airport and departure with Ryanair flight (operational subject to reconfirmation) for Milan Malpensa.
